Newstag is a startup that aims at revolutionising the global distribution of high-quality media, news and other time-sensitive video content. From the start it was clear such an ambitious idea requires a non-trivial synergy of innovative development practices and technical solutions.
Rivinews
Rivinews (now Newstag) is a Swedish startup which goal is to bring professionally produced TV-quality news content to users who look for objectivity and seek to view stories from all angles. By watching and sharing news the users actually support non-government and non-profit organisations and their campaigns.
Car Detective
Car Detective is a platform that aids sellers of second-hand cars in Germany. It allows sellers to monitor their ads published across the major German online marketplaces, and also get a comprehensive comparison between their offers and offers for similar vehicles published by others. The comparison functionality is also used by Insurance Experts looking for objective market value of a given vehicle.
Dreambox Learning
As a result of our collaboration with DreamBox Learning, we developed tens of new tools and helped the evolution to the next generation of the platform. Obecto also made the first mobile version of the platform.
CAN Browser
CanBrowser is one of our Swedish customers. The project was commissioned by the founder of Kvaser who aims at driving global collaboration and standardisation within the CAN-bus (Controller Area Network) industry and the CAN-bus community of engineers.
Saudi Aramco
The London-based office of the company has requested from Obecto to assis with the improvement and digitization of their HR processess, related to the world-wide recruitment of international specialists for the company's needs in Saudi Arabia.
HiredByMe
The HiredByMe project is one of the most stable projects that we have at Obecto. An example for scope based on solid strategy, stability of requirements, precise Sprint planning, complete platform end-to-end tests and a high level of technical cooperation and colaboration on the business level.
ProNES QA Touchpad
A touch-based system that streamlines the quality assurance processes at several industrial plants across the globe. The client wanted to migrate from their old desktop app to a browser-based application to increase flexibility in updating and managing the system and be able to easily increase supported languages. The λambda team’s approach to implementation combined the use of new programming technologies and approaches. Among these was the use of reactive web architecture to allow for all changes done by the Admin to reach the application users real-time.
Universum Talent Networks
Obecto, working directly with Universum - a global leader in the Employer Branding and Talent Sourcing, designed and developed a scalable and extensible, industry-strength platform. The development process was staged and the comprising systems were developed separately. The strong, holistic architectural approach applied by Obecto in each stage of the project helped to integrate all individual systems without friction and keep the platform consistent.
CleverTogether
CleverTogether is a crowd-sourcing platform which helps managers run their companies better by crowdsourcing ideas how to improve their organisation from within. It's mainly used by the healthcare sector in the UK, but the technology is suitable for almost any industry vertical.
